SUBURBAN VILLA FACTORY PROGRESS

This past Monday, the RES4 team paid a visit to Simplex to check out the progress of the latest prefab house...the four house modules plus one for the detached shed are wrapping up factory construction...they will be headed down to Maryland in February!

EAST END AVENUE CORIAN WALL STUDY

As construction on the apartment is progressing, we are working on nailing down our mill pattern & details for this 24' long wall, with an undulating circle pattern constructed out of corian... take a look at what we have been working on below, and stay tuned for more on this project soon!

7TH STREET TOWNHOUSE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

The 7th Street Townhouse site is fully demolished! Construction of the ground-up townhouse is set to begin once we pull our construction permits.

BROOKLYN BROWNSTONE RENOVATION

Demo wrapping up at this brownstone, located in a landmarked district of Park Slope. Layers of paint applied throughout the years have concealed original details

EAST END TERRAZZO!

The Construction for the East End Apartment is underway and the terrazzo is complete. Check out the process from start to finish.

Step 1 - Scarify and wash general area. Apply flexible underlayment to span edge of pour.

Step 2 - The aggregate

Step 3 - Epoxy Mixes

Step 4 - Setting elevation relative to adjacent wood flooring and aluminum trim angle

Step 5 - Setting compacted wet sand base mix at corners, then edges, then fill solid

Step 6 - Wet sand base mix around corner

Step 7 - Trawling on epoxy aggregate mixture over epoxy base (over sand)

Step 8 - The Third day of grinding / polishing

Step 9 - Final Polisher

Step 10 - Prepped for sealer
