The project is located on Martha’s Vineyard, where master planning services were provided for a local developer. The site, an undeveloped 100-acre parcel of land, is envisioned for a mixed-use development at the front, with the rear portion subdivided into for-sale lots.
The initial concept for the site includes the possibility of a large grocery store chain establishing a location on the property, with the idea that housing for employees, many of which may be seasonal, could be constructed above the store. This strategy would also be applied to smaller retail buildings across the site.
A key feature of the site is its location along a primary bike path on the island. A design concept was developed for creating a "Biker's Point" in the front triangle of the property. This area would serve as a rest and picnic spot for cyclists, offering a place to stop for a snack, coffee, or lunch. The concept was inspired by local markets and farm stands that cater to cyclists and aims to provide a welcoming space for the island's biking community.
