Located on a wooded 3-acre site, the Swingline aka Zim-Wex is a year-round playhouse for two women and their four kids who split time between NYC and the Hamptons. Fit to entertain with a pool, numerous bedrooms, entertainment rooms, and decks, the modern prefab home caters to its guests and easily indulges its inhabitants. The large bar constituting the mass of the house was placed parallel to the street separating the expansive recreational space and rear decks from the busy street to provide a safe haven for the children to play. The illumination of natural light is experienced throughout the entire home with plentiful windows merging the interior and exterior and revealing the constant activity throughout the house.
